We asked each server that came by our table for the check, and they responded okay, but never came back. We waited over 35 minutes to get our check. The wonton soup was an abomination that consisted of watered down broth with tasteless wontons. Unfortunately, the crispy was soaked in the frying oil, and the vegetables must have been macerated then put in an almost brown 'cream' sauce because one bite was toxic! When our meal came, the only redeeming factor was the beef with string bean. The crispy outside with the fresh vegetable inside is a terrific combination.

While we were waiting for our lunch, a service came around with Spring Rolls. As our lunch, my husband and I split the Beef with String beans which came with fried rice and soup. We thought we'd score with the Leek ball, but that was absolutely flavorless, and the interior was soggy. Up until today, they both rated equally for the most delicious and fresh Chinese eatery in Long Island. OMG, we both agreed, THE BEST!!! (Since finding a good/decent Chinese restaurant in Long Island is such a challenge, we make the trip to both Fortune Wheel and The Orient at least 2x a month, but more frequently we go to The Orient. The first dim sum brought out was pork shumai. As soon as we were seated, people started coming in in droves, so the restaurant was almost at full capacity within ten minutes of our being seated. Once seated, we were not upset because there was only one menu. We just sat in the waiting area until we were seated. By the way, the employees in Best Buy are probably the nicest and most obliging people you can encounter. We were early, so went into Best Buy to kill some time. So we detoured around for about 3 miles, until we were able to park our auto on a side street two blocks from the Nassau Mall. be close off due to the parade? Certainly and obviously not us. Who knew that the stretch of Hempstead Turnpike that borders the restaurant would. Although the location is approximately 40 miles from home, we included it in our plans to be nearby. We've looked forward to having lunch here for over a week.
